| The work on this evening bag is known as Sajai. Literally translated, it means to decorate or beautify. The bag has been decorated with small findings, each piece separately hand crafted and welded onto the metal sheet. One unit takes a craftperson at least 4 days to prepare. The studded stones are natural agate mined from the western Coast of India. Beautiful handcrafted metal purse from India is set with assorted stones. (Stones will vary - no two bags are exactly alike.) Closed purse is 5" wide x 2-1/4" deep x 4" tall. Comes on 40" chain. Interior is velvet lined. |
